Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1991, Juliette Pym is a French musician of Australian origin based in Toulouse. After university studies in art history and various professional experiences in the field of contemporary art, she joined the BBB art center in Toulouse as training coordinator and, from 2021 to 2024, led professional education programs for visual artists. At the same time, she has pursued research into institutional critique, focusing in particular on alternative organizational models within art institutions that aim to improve artists’ working conditions and contribute to institutional transformation.

Alongside this, Juliette Pym leads and takes part in several musical projects: Générique Mardi (cold pop), F.R.B. (kraut-dance), and Laura Bolt (synth wave), as well as sound creation projects in collaboration with visual artists, writers, and theater companies. She plays various instruments (bass guitar, synthesizers, drum machines, and computer-assisted music), sings, composes, and writes. Her approach to art and music is guided by collective and interdisciplinary creation from a critical perspective, using theory and lived experience to question social norms and notions of desire.
